I recently installed Karmic Koala (latest) version of Ubuntu on my Dell pc with a factory installed Nvidia GeForce FX 5200 graphics card.

I have a KDS 15″ monitor that runs 1024×768 on the same pc with windows os, but when i run Ubuntu, the monitor is limited to 600×400.

I have updated all other drivers and I have yet to find a driver specific to my application.

Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Jared,
did you try any drivers for your graphics card, yet?
Nvidia provides Unix drivers, did you check these?
