Why can’t I friend someone on Facebook?

I have a friend who is a foreigner, we spoke for awhile and were friends, but then Facebook sepereted us for no reason. Now if I send her a request, she is unable to accept it. Why has this happened and how can I solve this problem?

    Are you sure she didn’t block you? From what you describe that would be the obvious explanation.

    There is a setting to not accept friend requests. Your friend probably has that enabled.
