What is the best free software to record online videos?

Can you tell me if there is a guide to capturing videos from YouTube / BBC / internet generally and what software to use? I can’t see one on your site

    try using a product from Audials. I, for example have Audials One right
    now, but I upgraded from Tunebite, which was also working good with

    Download and install "downloadhelper" it works with mozilla browser.

    Hello, if you use firefox you also have the option of installing the flashget downloader add-on.  Once it is installed, it is going to ask you to restart firefox.  After restart, just navigate to the site where you want to download your videos, and start playing it.  You will see an icon flashing in your bar that looks like a video/multimedia icon.  Click on it, once and the video will start downloading to your chosen default download location.

    You can also download the flashget Download Manager and make it your default application for downloading:

    IDM, DAP , Orbit, free download manger.
    Install any of them to download videos from the websites.
