Is there a free software to make Joomla templates?

Is there any free software to make Joomla templates? I’ve been looking on internet already, found Artiseer, but that’s rather expensive. So I’m looking for something free.

Harry,

the software typically used to build Joomla tempates is Dreamweaver, which is not free.

So basically, you are looking for free alternatives to Dreamweaver:

You can then search for tutorials that explain how to build a Joomla template with this alternative software.
