Is there a way to use a flash drive to watch videos on the new iPad?

Kyle Nadler asks:

I have the new iPad and I want to know if I get the camera connection kit and connect a flash drive to it, will I be able to watch videos on it? Thanks.

I assume it is (technically) possible like on any older iPad.

You will need:
(1) the iPad Camera connection Kit for the Dock to USB adapter
(2) to jailbreak your device and get a file browsing App like iFile

As for jailbreaking I can offer a link to the iPhone Dev-Team. I haven’t attempted a jailbreak ever since iOS 4 was released.

I’m not entirely sure, but I think you might be able to. I’m pretty sure you can do it with pictures but I’m not really sure about video.
Here’s a link to Apple’s site, which mentions importing video:

If you know someone who has a Camera Connection Kit already, I’d suggest trying it out to see if it works and if it does, go ahead and buy it. Or you could buy it, try it out, and return it if it doesn’t work.
