How do I fix my jailbroken iPhone stuck in recovery mode?

Darshak K asks:

I have an iPhone 3G. The problem is that it stopped being detected on PC/mac(I believe because of voltage fluctuation). I was still able to charge it using wall charger. Luckily the iPhone was jailbroken at that time and I started using wifi sync on my phone to connect and sync with my mac. But, before few weeks, it’s just stuck at recovery mode and because of the fact that it’s not recognized by any computer I’m not able to make it out of recovery mode using redsn0w or other tools.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Before trying out  something to recover your phone, you must know the configuration of your phone like baseband,iOS version etc. as the solution depends upon the firmware of iOS too.

Here you can try the fix which works for most of the time –

1) Hold down the power and home button for 20 seconds till Apple logo appears on your phone.
2) Now,hold only home button for 5 seconds.
3) Release the home button and wait for 20 seconds and see whether your phone has recovered.

Yes, I did try connecting this phone on different machines and it does not show up in itunes. @SDutta:disqus , It is on 4..1I tried that trick and I was not able to put it out of the “connect to itunes” mode.
I think, because of the fact that it’s connector is damaged, I won’t be able to make it out of recovery mode :(

Just go to your itunes (it should read that you are connected.

double clilck the section that says your device name

click restore, click cancel, if anything else pops up just ignore it.

next you want to let it do its thing!

after it should be done!
