How can I fix my blue screen that always happens when I browse with Firefox?

Wiry Andi asks:

This is the minidump file http://puu.sh/QprB (don’t worry its not a phishing scam link). The blue screen always appears ONLY if I am browsing with my Firefox. The file causing the problem is “NETIO.SYS”. How do I fix this?

Browser: Firefox 14
System: Windows 7 32-bit

if it is netio.sys errors update the network (NIC) and wireless (WiFi) drivers

Start – type CMD this in Search Box -> then RIGHT CLICK – RUN AS ADMIN
Enter this at the prompt – sfc /scannow

Wiry Andi

what does the command for?

The command sfc /scannow scans the integrity of all protected Windows 7 system files and replaces incorrect corrupted, changed/modified, or damaged versions with the correct versions if possible.

well perhaps is more than driver question, did you uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled. How about to uninstall firefox, boot to safe mode run scan with clamwin portable, super antispyware, clean found infections, reboot and run CCleaner. Reinstall firefox and see the result.

Also perhaps there are some conflicts with your antivirus, uninstall then just do some basic internet browsing like reading cnn, if you see that problem is fixed then install a clean antivirus exe.
