How does the MakeUseOf Giveaway winner come to know that she / he has won? I do not see any specific section on MakeUseOf to announce the winners. Would be great, if a dedicated section can be assigned for it.

Giveaway winners are contacted by email.
Once winners have been confirmed, they are posted on the respective Giveaway article. This can take some time.

1. Winners are announced on the main blog. So you have to keep checking the giveaway page.
2. Winners are also required (at times) to email to jackson within a week, if not – license is lost.

But, Tina said the winner contacted via email, so useless to see the main blog, the point is, if you are not contacted then you are not the winner..

October 7, 2012Aye, winners are announced at the bottom of the article page when the period ends. The winners specifically receive the good news by email.
