If you are having trouble actuly finding the file then , when you get to the code, press ctrl f and type in swf... It is usually in the embed location. 9 out of ten times it is the 5th one listed

When you find the swf file copy anew paste it into your URL. This makes the game full screen. Then go to file, save as and put it where ever you would like to save it

to play miniclip games you need a flashplayer try
    Swiff Player
    http://www.globfx.com/products/swfplayer/

How to make Swiff Flash Player portable:

1.Download Swiff Player and install using the default path
2.Navigate to the application folder. I.E. C:Program FilesGlobFX and copy the entire Swiff Player folder to your USB device
3.Uninstall Swiff Player from the Host PC
4.Navigate to the Swiff Player folder on your USB device and click SWFPlayer.exe to launch the application

I second DownloadHelper for Firefox. When you go to a page that starts loading something it can handle, the toolbar button lights up and offers to download the file when you click the button. It works for swf as well as videos and music files that are embedded on a page.

    Hi
There are some soft that do this
    look for
    Flash2X Flash Hunter
    http://www.flash2x.net/

    browser Mozilla Firefox

    1. First open the site (e.g. Miniclips.com) in Firefox browser and run the flash games. Wait until the webpage and games load completely.

    2. Than Go to Tool Menu > Page Info

    3. Click on the Media tab and look for the Embed file which has flash (.swf) extension. It should be big size file since it is a flash game.

    4. When you find the .swf file, click the Save As button. Than the file will be saved in your computer.

    Hi Carson,
MiniClip has undergone some minor changes since this article was published, but the general principle remains the same. I'll use http://www.miniclip.com/games/ghosts-stole-my-dog/en/ as an example here - open the game in your webbrowser and try to follow with me. Once you understand how it works, you can use it with other games.First open the page source.Press ctrl+f (or on Mac: cmd+f) and query for ".swf", without the quotes. "swf" (without the dot) is mentioned several times throughout the page, but ".swf" indicates a filename. Copy this filename to your clipboard (e.g. ghoststolemydog.swf, picture)Paste that filename after the game URL. That's the URL of your flash file. (e.g. http://www.miniclip.com/games/ghosts-stole-my-dog/en/ghoststolemydog.swf )Now we just need a way to download that file. Don't follow the article here, there's an easier way to do this. Just head to the URL in question (the game will fill the entire page) and go to File -> Save page as.. in your browser. That's it!

    Hope this helps,

    Simon
