Where can I find the Snipping Tool option in Windows 7 Home Premium?

Himanshu Singla asks:

I am using Windows 7 Home Premium (purchased). Does Windows 7 have snipping tool option and if yes, where is it present? I have also search it in the root directory, but its setup is not there?

Open Snipping Tool by clicking the Start button . In the search box, type Snipping Tool, and then, in the list of results, click Snipping Tool.

5) Select Properties
6) Enter in the shortcut key text box

3)Right click and choose Pin to Taskbar

The snipping tool .exe is not present in the root directory system 32. Kindly suggest the solution donot write the same answer.

If you cannot find it in the root check this:
Open Turn Windows Features On or Off in the Control Panel and make sure Tablet PC Components is turned on, if it isnt turn it on then logoff and back on again and you should be able to see it now.

start menu > type in “snipping tool”. Must be there…but ain’t no in mine!

Click the start button, then type “Snipping tool” in the search box just above the start button. You’ll get a result with a scissors on an oval shape icon. That is it.

snipping tools is available in below location
C:\Windows\system32\SnippingTool.exe

Normally it is installed in all version if windows 7, if still not able to find go to Control Panel -> Default program – > System tools and install it
