How can I best find original music videos on YouTube?

Every time I search for a music video I get useless covers and parodies and I don’t get the official video. Is there any way to get the official videos? Any channels? Any filters?

By the way, I use my Android phone’s YouTube app for watching video.

I agree so tired of running into the useless, stupid @$$ videos that others make. They should put them in category. Such as USLESS STUPID @$$ videos that others made and official videos.

If you want a really quick way to listen to the musician of your choice, try uWall. You type in the name of the artist and you'll get a radio station of YouTube clips from them. It's awesome. :)

For more popular artists, they are more than likely to have a VEVO account, such as JustinBieberVEVO. Videos on these channels are guaranteed to be the originals. I know from personal experience that the mobile/Android's YouTube blocks certain music videos, but I haven't had any problems with VEVO accounts. As long as you can find a video from that channel, you can tap on its name and all of the videos belonging to that account appear.

One safe way is to follow the Favourites of VEVO

You can also check out the Music section of YouTube

Another note on VEVO, you can find videos by typing the name of the artist and then appending 'vevo' before including the name of the song in the search box, e.g. "beyoncevevo halo". That should bring up the original video.
