How do I make folders for my bookmarks on a macbook pro.  When I look at tutorials it says to go to the bookmarks folder and click on “organize bookmarks”, but I don’t have that option.

Unfortunately I don’t have a Mac to hand, but simply search for bookmarks.html and you’ll find the file and its location.

I second that, very simple an useful tip infact. If searching for
      bookmarks.html doesn’t return anything try bookmarks.htm.

Also, if you are looking for a simple way to synchronize bookmarks across multiple computers and browser then check out Xmarks.

Thanks — you pointed me to the right place.

You can easily export your bookmarks by accessing the bookmarks menu item, click on Organize Bookmarks, then click the Import/Export button to export your bookmarks as a html file.

If you want to manually access your bookmarks, navigate to
    ~/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles/
