July 31, 2012Go to your privacy settings and change the settings to Only Me or Friends. You can click on Manage old posts and limit visibility for friends only.

July 31, 2012At the top right of the screen There is an arrow pointing down. Press this to open the menu and then press “Privacy Settings”
On the next page, under “Control Default Privacy”, change your settings to “Friends” or “Custom” to tweak things further.

August 15, 2012well actually you can only hide some of your informations from public
you can hide these things
- your relations ( brothers, sisters,….)
- your email and phone number
- basic informations
but
you really can’t hide all of your comments and upadtes on your timeline
also your cover photos can’t be made private.
if you wanted to hide those feature which can be hidden, so do these steps
go to your timeline
- click on ” update info ”
- on ” about you ” tab, click on ” edit ” a small box will appear, at the top right corner of it, you’ll see shadow of two persons, which indicate those who can see your update info. click on that, and then you can hide that by hitting ” only me ”
do the same thing to both
” basic info ” and ” contact info ”
and you’re done.
but don’t forget not to provide everything on facebook because as we know facebook always wants to expose its user’s data to others !
