Every time I use a share-to-Facebook feature on any webpage (including MakeUseOf articles), the shared info/page shows up in my personal profile/Timeline, but nothing appears in the public News Feed. I’m hoping some savvy MakeUseOf patron(s) can help me out.

August 25, 2012Your news feed sort preference must have been set to “Top Stories”. Change that to “Most Recent” from the small drop down arrow just under the status update box.

August 25, 2012Just hover the post and you’ll notice there should be a lock icon somewhere. Click the lock icon, which means the post is only visible to you, and you can choose who do you want to see the post.
