Why does Facebook think I’m on a mobile phone?

Anthony Anderson asks:

My Facebook account was hacked and so was my email, I’ve created a new email to get to the “get help of friends” page but then it says this account isn’t available on a mobile phone. But I’m on a PC. Why does it say this?

All websites detect your browser using “User-Agent”. It seems to me your user-agent in chrome is messed up. You can fix this by installing extension called User-Agent Switcher for Chrome. It has a lot of user-agents available for different browsers as well as mobile phones. It should fix your problem.

Have you checked to see if the address bar has a m.mobile infront of the “https://www”
I think that puts you through to a mobile version of the site.
