dont know what you mean by “Face Recognition for HP ProtectTools” , but if its simple face recognition you want for your PC , you can try these apps -

However, if you go to page of Face Recognition software and you read the requirements, as long as your laptop is running windows 7 you should be able to run it. The software page mentions the hp probook 4000 series as compatible with it. The Face Recognition software is default installation for business class laptops. Your is classified as multimedia.

June 4, 2012hi i used this software to secure my pc from others but it is not safe software. because i did set-up this. and my other friend took my two three photo on iphone and show to my laptop camera and unlock my laptop. now i removed it. its stupid software. do not trust on this kind of software.
