How can I extract data from my Palm Z22 using a Linux computer?

Lon Phillips asks:

I have a Palm Z22 which won’t charge and my Windows machine gave up the ghost, so I only have a Linux machine. How do I extract/copy/whatever the information from that PDA?

They changed the question on me. My Palm won’t charge at all, which means it also wont sync. What can I do to transfer all my information from it without being able to sync?

I think that you’re facing the battery problem which is not getting charged and hence being unable to charge is not allowing to transfer your data.Try charging it for long hours and power it on.

Palm’s battery is soldered and if it doesn’t charges up,then your battery life is over and needs replacement.

Since I’m disabled, I’ll have to go to a computer store nearby and have them see if they can do it. Thanks!
