When trying to upgrade Adobe Reader, I get the following error message:

“Error 1935. An error occurred during the installation of assembly component
{B708EB72-AA82-3EB7-8BB0-D845BA35C93D}. HRESULT: 0x80073712.”

Any ideas on how to fix this problem?

    Billy,

did the fix suggested by Mike work? I would also second Andy's comment and suggest to look into Foxit. It's a great PDF Reader!

Or you could try other software (like Foxit pr PDF XChange viewer)...

    Try the official solutions:

One other possible solution is to deinstall your current version, manually download the newest Adobe Reader X and install it.

{B708EB72-AA82-3EB7-8BB0-D845BA35C93D} could also be a problem with either Visual C++ Redistributable or the .NET Framework. So if the above doesn't help look into Add or Remove Software within the Control Panel for those components and try reinstalling them.
