I need a video converter that works on a Mac OSX format. What is an equivalent to the Windows etc. system provided by MakeUseOf in its latest release?

If you have a newer mac with the app store then you can download smart converter for free or if you have an old mac you can use iskyfire video converter or if you just want to play them you can download VLC

MakeUseOf makes video converters now? First I've heard of it.

Another very powerful option is MPEG StreamClip
