I was looking at a website (http://cosmonot.bandcamp.com/releases) and I was interested in how they embedded the audio player in the site. Is it a script or something?

ya they surely use javascript.,....also some use flash based players which have generally more flashy and featured than javascript ones....you should try the flash based players since they have good designs....

That particular site looks like it's using html and javascript to load it's player.

In this day and age, I would use the audio tag and Jquery to probably embed a player.

http://mediaelementjs.com/ is a pretty good example.

    Thanks for all your answers!
I really liked their audio player design...
But my question was edited a little. My question was: How to embed an audio player similar to the page I mentioned? since I like their design..
I know a lot of sites that offer some audio players script, but this was really cool!
    Anyway, thanks again! :)

It's possible they used a combination of HTML5 and JQuery to make their audio player. If you inspect the web page there doesn't appear to be any special tags or Flash used. It is a very nice looking audio player. : )

There are HTML tags that can be used for this purpose. You can use the EMBED, OBJECT, or AUDIO tags for this purpose. There are advantages and drawbacks of each. In each case, if the browser does not support the audio format, a plug-in will need to be used and HTML4 or XHTML validation will fail. You can also use javascript to use external playsers such as Yahoo! A quick search on the HTML tag names will lead you to tons of sources and examples of each method of embedding audio and multimedia files on web pages.
