Hello, are you accessing hotmail online? or are you using windows live mail? or Outlook? Have you by any chance set your hotmail to be forwarded/accessed by another account like gmail? What is your operating system?
You could try the following to see if same thing happens:
– download and install windows live mail
– once program is installed, open it
– click on down arrow in first tab of menu (blue blox with down arrow)
– click on options
– select email accounts
– click on Add
– click on Email Account and then next
– type your hotmail email address, password and user name
– Check mark Manually configure server settings
– click on next
– on server type, click on down arrow and select Windows Live Hotmail
– click on next
To check if same thing happens, try the following:
– open windows live mail
– on Home tab, click on send/receive icon on top right hand
– check if your email still appears in deleted items
in hotmail mail options unable the ‘forward mail’ option?
My forward option shows off but all new emails still go to deleted folder instead of inbox.
