Mark asks:
I have lots of duplicate music files on my Mac and in iTunes. When I synced them to my Samsung Galaxy S it has added all of them. I’m also finding that my tracks aren’t tagged properly.
What app can I use to remove my duplicate files and to fix my music tags?

actually the new iTunes has an option for that!
File > Display Exact Duplicates

tagging your music is a bit of pain but there are apps that can help you with that:
MusicBrainz Picard (free, http://musicbrainz.org/doc/PicardDownload)
Equinux Songgenie (~30USD, http://www.equinux.com/us/products/songgenie)
TuneUP (100 songs free/~30USD unlimited, http://www.tuneupmedia.com/)
for covers I use Fetch Art but there are also alternatives:
Fetch Art (free, http://fetchartblog.blogspot.com/)
TuneUP (50 covers free)
Album Artwork Assistant (free, http://www.entropy.ch/software/macosx/album-artwork-assistant/)
Equinux CoverScout (~40USD, http://www.equinux.com/us/products/coverscout/index.html)
I suggest trying Dupin: http://dougscripts.com/itunes/itinfo/dupin.php
This should make it a lot easier to track down and delete duplicate music files in iTunes.
