How can I edit my old tweets in my Twitter account?

I have seen lots of changes on Twitter, but the thing is, they have YET to introduce a method to EDIT tweets. I think, it's one the few things that makes Twitter different from Fb or G+.

I think the philosophy goes:
If you can't edit your spoken words, you can't edit your tweet-ed words either!
You can only give an explanation with more spoken/tweeted words. Hence, it makes one feel responsible for their actions (or rather words). (:

Hello, I am not sure if you can or not, but there could be a possible workaround by following the next link:

http://www.ehow.com/how_8327724_edit-old-tweets.html

Once downloaded, you could edit them and then see if you can tweet them again.

It's not editing tweets, it's copying text- editing text and tweeting again.

Your ehow link itself says: once tweeted, it's out of your control.

Read twitter faq to be sure that you can't edit.

hello, the way I see it it is an option.  Whether he wants to go for it or not is up to him.  What do you rather have; a possible way of doing it? or no way at all?

yes, I also said the same thing "tweet again",
and it may be useful to those who wants to find their old tweets,
But it's not your fault, it's the misleading title of the article- "how to edit old tweets."
