Which is the easiest and lightest software to synchronize my PC data to an external hard drive?

Just like Dropbox, which synchronizes all changes made in a folder to an online account, I need a light on memory and easy software which synchronize all changes made to two partitions on my PC hard drive to an external hard drive (continuously). Right now I am using ToDo Backup, but I don’t know if there is a ‘synchronize’ feature in it. Tell me about a simple software.

You could also try Microsoft's SyncToy which is a free software provided by microsoft itself. You can get it here: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=15155

it allows users to create incremental backups which saves space and time on consecutive backups as only changed files and folders will be processed in the backup. A scheduler has also been added to create automated pre-scheduled backups to run at a specific interval or system event.

SyncBackSE can also allow you to safely and easily synchronize files between two different directories. Those files could be on different drives, different computers, different devices, or even over the Internet via FTP.
