Nhan Nguyen asks:
Can I connect HD and SD video devices like PS3 (HDMI) and Wii (RCA) to an iMac? I would like to use my Mac’s screen to play games and watch video from other sources, but I do not want to use an Elgato EyeTV, which introduces lag.
Any suggestions?

April 12, 2012This cable will do the job I believe, though I havent tried myself so cannot guarantee. http://estore.circuitassembly.com/products/Mini-Displayport-to-Displayport-Adapter-Cable.html
You also need to restart your mac in target display mode
(note, mid-2011 imac 27″ will not work – only via thunderbolt cable, which is obviously useless for HDMI things)
my bad, you do also need one of these: http://www.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Product_Id=508267

April 12, 2012Thanks all, I will try them out!
let us know which configuration you will choose.
April 12, 2012Based on what I’ve read through links provided here, I’ll start with the Kanex, then the Belfan. Either way, I’ll still need an additional RCA to HDMI adapter, as you and James Bruce suggest.
