Why can I not download a .txt file from Skydrive?

Alvin asks:

I am not able to download .txt files from Skydrive. When I click on the file name or when I select the file and click download nothing happens. All other file types have absolutely no problem. Please help me!

Is it only me or are there other mortals facing the same problem?

It’s the first time I ever heard about such a problem. Skydrive is one of the few storages which actually force the download of TXT files instead of displaying them within the browser.

Personally I suggest to clear the internet cache and retry.

Disable all addons on internet browser, try to use another internet browser and see if the problem persists.
