John asks:
Does anyone have an idea of where I could download open source content such as on ClearBits.net?

You can use torrent search engine http://www.torrentoff.com if at you it is established Bit torrent. There it is easy and it is quickly possible download any files that is necessary for you.
http://www.osalt.com/ Is my source to find and download open source software . They don’t have audio books and podcasts but they do have software and games. It’s a great site when trying to find free alternatives to popular software like MS Office, Adobe stuff, iTunes, etc.
Torrents are the best source. We have an entire eBook (PDF) guide on it (The Free Torrent Guide) with a wealth of information.
Then there are the file sharing websites like Rapidshare. You will also get many more free download options if you use our search box with keywords like “download eBooks” or “download podcasts”. We have posted a lot of articles on these.
At best, try to download stuff that does not infringe copyrights.
Thanks, I’ll be cautious when using torrents since you have reminded me that there are some illegal content being uploaded.
