Some will allow you to download the videos in either flash video (flv), mp4, mp3, etc., others can convert the videos to other file formats also. Even Real Player has the option to download videos from a multitude of websites, and convert the files to other formats.

Lots of plug ins options, for me using flashvideodownloader is the best one, since i also download some other materials from others site which the format is different from youtube. Now, It’s up to you.

July 17, 2012If you are using Google Chrome as the browser then you don’t need to download any video separately. Just watch youtube video online and they will be downloaded in the Cache folder of Google Chrome. You just have to rename the file with .flv and the video would be ready to watch.
for Windows 7 and 8, use this path for the files:

Like the comment before, use google to find the online ones, but, respect the programs are many “free” programs who install bars and other stuff in your computer.
In you do using a software, exist one named Free Youtube Downloader and they have a program named Free Youtube to MP3, only you need to see the startup screen with comercial but after that, no problem, it’s easy to use and it’s no complicate.

1) First of all, to make your job easier, you are advised to Get a toolbar for faster access to youtube.com.
2) Click your favourite video clip, you can see the URL in your browser becomes something like this :
3) highlight the URL (like above) and right click the mouse and select “copy”
4) Paste the URL at our download page
5) When the download link shows, You should right-click -> “Save Target As” OR copy and paste the link into your download manager. Note: You must change the file extension to .flv
6) The .flv file is not a common multimedia file, you need a software called FLV player to play it. Click here to get Free FLV Player
7) Install the FLV player into your computer.
8) Select the video clip that you downloaded and play
9) If you want to convert the FLV video and play it in IPod, PSP, mobile phone(3GP format), then you need to download FLV Converter
