Rob asks:
I have a paid version of MS Office on disk, but I want office on my laptop, which doesn’t have an optical drive. Where can I download a copy that is legit?

You can download the proper Office (trial) version and activate it with your valid key:
Office 2010
Office 2007
Thanks to you and all the great answers. Job done !
Thanks for the feedback, Rob!
you can ask a friend and use the dvd to instal office that is more secure and virus/malware free. Extract Microsoft office, Then set share folders to your laptop from a computer or another of your laptop then move the file there. you can use dropbox to move files

Hi, You can try dropbox

live Mesh o free service to share files between computers.

Live Mesh synchronizes the file with the permissions of the file locally unchanged. So, if the local folder is not public, the permissions are inherited when you create/save/modify the file locally. When it syncs to the other PC, in the public folder, it retains the permissions it had locally on the source machine.

If you have a legit licence key, you can download the iso from piratebay and just use your legal licence key instead of the one supplied with the pirate download. You’ll need some kind of “virtual cd drive” to mount the ISO file, like Daemon tools lite.
