Why can I not download apps or sync to Gmail on my Android 2.2 tablet?

My Android tablet 2.2 won’t let me download apps from the Android Market. It keeps saying “downloads unsuccessful”.

Also, how do I sync to Gmail as it keeps saying it has failed. Please someone help!!! D;

More info would be needed to resolve this. What model tablet do you have? Believe it or not there are some tablets that do not have access to the Play Store (formerly Android Market)

Check whether you have proper internet connection and settings of it.You might not be getting enough speed for downloading anything.
