How can I make DoudouLinux work on a USB thumbdrive?

How do I get DoudouLinux to work on a USB stick? I have tried using ‘liveusb-write’, ‘usb creator’ and ‘unetbootin’ without success. Is it available anywhere online already to copy a working version to USB drive?

Thank you folks. I am using LinuxMint and found Ubuntu Image Writer amongst the applications, that worked successfully. The grandchildren are going to be pleased. Doudou loads so much faster from USB than CD.

Have you downloaded the proper USB Image files (IMG) from the website? If you downloaded the CD ISO file liveusb-write will fail.

For UNetbootin it's the other way round. It requires CD ISO images not "ready to use" USB images. Personally I would try using win32diskimager with one of the USB image files.
