Can DocSyncer be used with Android tablets?

After surfing the web a bit I found out that DocSyncer is dead. Since June 2008 the project has stopped development so it will be hard to find a specific port to Android tablets: http://www.crunchbase.com/company/docsyncer

There are similar tools that are said to work on Mac and Linux devices (Android is Linux based) but need an emulator like WINE to run. Syndocs (http://bit.ly/lbWTcH) says so in their FAQ page (http://bit.ly/j6gMdB).

What Office suite are you using in your Android tablet? I assume you want to this to sync your files to have access when you are offline so you need them to be synched.

You could install dropbox in your tablet and PC and start from there, according to this blog post from Dropbox team they are working on Google Docs integration withDropbox: http://blog.dropbox.com/?p=593

    Hope it all helps.
