March 2, 2010I’m on XP now but I believe it should be the same in 7.
Right click on the task bar and choose properties. From there you should get a window with taskbar options with one of them being “Keep taskbar on top of other windows.” Just uncheck that and you should be good to go.

April 17, 2010aparently there is no way to disable the taskbar to always be on top in win7.
I am using voddler and it is freaking anoying. Using autohide is not really an option since you get a white line at the bottom of the screen.
I found a small app that is supposed to fix this but I am not interrested in having a third party exe to be running in the background that I am not shure of what else it is doing.
