Can I delete files in my SWSetup folder after removing CyberlinkDVD9?

I have removed CyberlinkDVD9 from my HP OEM Windows 7 Home Premium laptop. I have found two rather large cab files:

Data 2.cab (C:\SWSetup\CyberDVD\Stage1\PDIR) and
Data 1.cab (C:\SWSetup\CyberDVD\Stage1\PDIR).

My question is, can I delete these files and what’s the safest way of doing so?

    Hector,

the SWSetup folder on HP laptops holds installation/setup files for software and drivers. You can remove these two files. Even if you should need them again in the future, you will most likely be able to download them from the HP homepage.

You can simply delete the file and then empty your Recycle Bin. These are not files from installed software.
