For some reason, ctrl+a will no longer highlight all items for selection in Windows Explorer. If I use ctrl+shift+a it will work like ctrl+a used to. Why has the hotkey changed?

March 3, 20121) Click Start then Control Panel
2) Printers and Other Hardware then Keyboard
3) In the Keyboard Properties window, click Hardware then Click Properties
4) Click Driver then Click Uninstall, click OK
5) Restart your Computer

March 3, 2012Also check if you have your sticky keys enabled
Windows 7 has this Lock modifier keys when pressed twice in a row.
Found under Start -> type sticky keys -> enter -> Set up sticky keys -> uncheck that option if it is enabled.
