How can I create a wireless network using my Windows laptop?

John asks:

I want to install a program or eager to know a method of how to create a wireless port from my WiFi devices. I’ve seen previous post about the Connectify, but apparently their download link has potential adware that my computer capture. It’s called Win32/Opencandy and this type of script can allow potential personal information stream to various third party networks.

Is there any program that could have the same function as Connectify?

Thanks.

Adware:Win32/OpenCandy is an adware program that may be bundled with certain third-party software installation programs. User-specific information, including a unique machine code, operating system information, locale (country), and certain other information are sent to a remote server without obtaining adequate user consent.

This is from the Microsoft homepage.

Also the official Download links to CNET who guarantee that it’s safe to use

All software on CNET Download.com is tested, scanned, and monitored frequently to assure it is free of spyware, adware, viruses, and other malicious programs

On a different note this download is a nice proof that Microsoft is taking protection seriously and puts a lot of effort into Defender and Security Essentials.

While built-in Defender prompted me immediately on double-click it seems like no AntiVirus seems to care about this stuff http://cl.ly/2J083K463S3C2s3f1N2m
