July 5, 2012Most times it is not possible to just transfer from a cable/satellite, etc. provider dvr, and would need to be recorded onto the PC with a tv tuner card. You could get a cheap USB tuner card to record off the FIOS box. Then you could use Video Cutter to cut out commercials or only scenes you want to keep.

July 6, 2012NO video stored in fios box is non transferable. You can only link your computer to watch what is on your computer. But they do not allow any transfer from fios box.
