How can I convert .mkv files to .mp4 so I can burn them to a DVD?

I have some movies in .mkv format. I want to convert them to .mp4, so that I can burn the movies to DVD.

    if you want to burn mkv file to dvd, just use DVD Creator to achieve it.

    I use DVD Coach Express to copy video files to DVD. I have fitted at least 3 full movies on one disk. But not sure if you can still download it any more. If you want a copy, just contact me on my website jackcola.org

    I believe DVDStyler can handle mkv files as well.

    Also, when you convert from one digital format to another, it will degrade the quality. So, going straight from the most original source available will give the best results.
