I want to convert each page of the PDF to multiple image files, with my specified orientation (landscape or portrait) and image size (for example, in inches/cm).
I remember using a desktop-based convertor that allowed this kind of functionality. But I seem to have forgotten its name. Any suggestions for another suitable convertor which may enable me to convert big PDF books to images, with the objective on reading a 3.5″ screen will be duly appreciated.
This question has been resolved. You may still add an answer if you think you can add something to the discussion though.

This is the very desktop-based convertor which I was talking about. I had forgotten its name. A great piece of software indeed. I thank you heartily for reminding me of eBook to Images.
http://www.splitpdf.com can give you the images.
But if you still think that the images are big,
you can split or slice the images.
