    Hi
Possible incompatibility with your network card

    try this driver
    http://www.broadcom.com/support/802.11/linux_sta.php

    1. Connect to dap-1522 when the wireless security mode is WEP
    2. Change the dap-1522 security mode settings to "WPA-Personal"
    3. Try to connect again

this apparently has more compatibilities with hardware

hexxehs published solution was to connect via Ethernet cable

What type of wireless network are you trying to connect to? Is it WEP or WPA encrypted or not protected at all?

When you try to connect, what exactly happens? Is there an error message at any point? If so, when and what does it say?
