How can I connect remotely to Windows Remote Desktop using my iPhone or iPad?

James Toczyl asks:

At my work we use Windows Remote Desktop to connect from all over the world. Is there an application on iOS for my iPhone or iPad that I can connect directly to this service?

I recommend you use PocketCloud. It’s a great RD app, but you have to buy it if you want to configure more than one RD PC

For RDP / VNC connection to your enterprise Windows terminal services, it is very important that you use brand of repute with strong security implementation.

These clients are available both for iOS and Android devices.

AccessToGo Remote Desktop/RDP -> Ericom Software (supports Fast RDP)
2X Client RDP/Remote Desktop -> 2X Software Ltd
Remote Desktop, RDP FREE -> Mobisoft Corporation Ltd
PocketCloud Remote RDP / VNC -> Wyse Technology Inc (would suggest to go for the Pro version)
GoToMyPC (Remote Desktop) -> Citrix Online, a division of Citrix Systems, Inc

Also Citrix, Go-Global, VMWare have their respective client to connect to their software, if you have those solutions in place.
