if you see any icon to do this on your browser in the right side of the addressbar,
may be you have installed an extension that switches between proxies,
    set options or remove it.
you can set the proxy settings from the instructions by @50ab52dff88ff8e87a1b3fdcf3a8e108:disqus

    hello .

if am not wrong , chrome doesnt has any option which says – connect through proxy .
can you explain where exactly do you see this ?

chrome uses the systems default internet connection settings .

under chrome settings > options > under the hood > network .

it would open the window’s default internet connection settings dialog box .
check the settings here for your preferred connection , whether it has a proxy enabled or not …

    tell if it works ….
