How can I connect my Apple iPod Touch to my laptop?

How did you try to connect your iPod Touch to your laptop? And what happened?

What operating system is on your laptop?

Hello, I think more information needs to be provided.  You need to tell us what steps you have tried.  Go to the following link that deals with ipod, ipod touch, etc when having problems connecting.  There are several troubleshooting steps provided, try them and see if they worki for you:

did you get a ipod charger with it? if so, plug in the charger to the laptop, and then plug in the ipod. there will be a manual to help afterwards.
