Why does my computer not power up after installing Windows XP?

Tried installing Windows XP and it stopped working. No power light, just an LED light on motherboard that says (RAM LED). I would be so grateful if you could give me some advice. Thank you!

This seems to be a computer self-defense mechanism to prevent itself from having to use Windows.

All jokes aside this is probably very serious. Could you tell me if this support answer helps you?

    Will,

can you please specify what type of computer you have, i.e. manufacturer and model, whether it is a laptop or desktop computer?

Did you check your power cable?
If this is a desktop computer, is the power switch on the back of the machine turned on?

At what point during or after the installation of Windows XP did it stop turning on?
