I’m guessing that you’re a Windows user. Which version of Windows do you have on your computer?
At which point exactly does your computer become slow?
Is this right after you log into your user account?
Does the computer remain slow even after the desktop has loaded?

January 19, 2011There could be many reasons for slow booting. If it happens when you get to your desktop it could be because you have too many programs starting, too many icons on taskbar, too many processes running and even it could be a defragmentation issue or virus. If you could provide more info, an answer most specific could be given.
