I have a Seagate GoFlex Home which came with Memeo Instant Backup. I would also like to backup using the Samsung Recovery Solutions 5 software that came on my laptop. Or Windows backup. The problem is neither program will recognize my wireless external hard drive. I can see it under my computer, network locations. Why cant I backup again?

I have a terabyte backup from seagate that is hooked up directly through USB,I contacted seagate about my backup drive and they told me it would only backup files and not systems,I use it by dragging and dropping files into it,but it still won't backup my whole system like I want it to.

change the drive letter for the external hard drive and check if it helps, here is the link:

delete the volume and reformat the drive as NTFS, gave it the drive letter N, set it as Active. It is to you to decide if to do this.
