July 16, 2012Goto your FB wall, reach bottom and press esc to avoid further loading of older posts, click Language right there at the bottom, select Hindi, start typing
when you want to switch back select English from that very place.
This thing only changes language of facebook’s own words , but posts of users remains english

July 17, 2012by using the Microsoft Indic Language Input tool. Its available to you from MSN India website at http://specials.msn.co.in/ilit/Hindi.aspx . The tool allows you to type in Bengali, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu
Step1:
- Go to the Microsoft Indic language tool located at http://specials.msn.co.in/ilit/Hindi.aspx
Step 2:
- Type in your Text in the box and the tool will automatically convert it to the text in the language you chose. Don’t worry about anything that it does not spell correctly for you for now
Step 3:
- Once you have typed all your text in, hover over and click on a Word that you think was not interpreted or typed correctly by the Indic language tool and it will give you options to choose another word from a list or edit the word.
Step 4:
- If for some reason, the word is not there in the list presented to you, you can choose to Edit the Word in the language itself, clicking on Edit brings up this language editor where you can type your own word
Your transliterated text is now available to you and you can copy and paste this in any online application such as FaceBook, Twitter, Flicker etc or any Word Processor too. That’s how you can type in Hindi on FaceBook or Twitter using Microsoft’s Indic Language Tool.
