Hoku Sarroca asks:
When I launch Chrome it tells me my profile could not open correctly and that some features may be unavailable. It then asks me to check that the profile exists. I’ve tried to follow the instructions to delete the folder but then it says it is unable to delete the folder as it is in use even after I close all windows.
I’ve uninstalled Chrome and reinstalled it but I still have the same issue. How can I fix it?

July 5, 2012Did you use Windows’ Remove Program or a third party uninstaller like Revo Uninstaller or IOBit Advanced Uninstaller? Try either of those first to get completely rid of anything associated with Chrome, then reinstall. Leftover files, folders, and registry items are common with built-in uninstallers and could cause this problem. If you want more security without losing your Chrome experience, try out Comodo Dragon, it is Chrome with the tracking and security holes fixed.

Type about:conflicts into the address bar and see if there is any conflicting software.

July 5, 2012it is better to do this on the safe mode. After reinstall the application, restart the system, delete the folder and restart again, it will solve your problem

July 6, 2012i think of the cached data in chrome is causing this problem. You better delete all folders pertaining to chrome or use CC cleaner to remove this and try installing it. It will definitely work
