I want to burn my movie with the right audio channel. The software burns audio channel #1 (Russian) but I want #2 (English). I am using Nero 9. How can I change the audio being burned?

you have to delete one audio with VirtualDubMod. for example
    http://sourceforge.net/projects/virtualdubmod/files/
Click 'Streams' 'Stream List', select and disable the stream (double click on it).
    Click 'Video' 'Direct Stream Copy'
    Click 'File' 'Save as..'

    then burn video with Nero

Use Nero Recode to change which audio channel is played by default.
