Micromax funbook is for 6000. It has Android ICS,1 GHz Dual Core Cortex A8 Processor and Dual Mali 400 GPU. It supports 3G dongle via USB.
Incase you want something cheaper wait for Aakash 2.

Aakash (would not recommend)

Ubislate (upgraded version of Aakash – again not recommended)

Micromax Funbook (would recommend, runs ICS and Google Play access) – also good for education learning as have tie up with a leading education IT company to have their courseware in the tablet

HCL ME U1 (decent tablet, runs ICS but does not provide access to android market or Google Play, gives HCL marketplace which has only 15,000 application, a huge disadvantage)

Karbonn Smart Tab 1 (another cheap ICS tablet and supports Google Play)

However at 6,499 price point I shall recommend Micromax Funbook as a decent tablet at that price range with ICS and Google Play access. They also have a Pro version recently launched with the only difference of a bigger screen of 10.1″ instead of 7″ at the 10K range.

Micromax Funbook is the best among cheap tablets. Though i’d recommend shelling out a few more bucks to get the Nexus 7.

Yeps, I would love a Nexus 7 however, it is not officially available in India yet. google did announce a launch in India, but withdrew the statement. :(
